Today I landed at Heathrow, the largest airport in the world. That, to me, is so cool! Today we did a general walk around of London. I had to pay to go to the bathroom!! I am never going to take a free bathroom in the USA for granted again! Street performers are EVERYWHERE, which is pretty neat. It’s dinner time here in London and the Tube was crowded on our way over here. Speaking of the Tube… we started out taking the Circle line to Westminster and walked around to Trafalgar Square then onward to Picadilly Circus and on to Covant Garden. From there, we went to Holborn Station where we took the Central Line to St. Pauls. I am now sitting at Fables, which is a fantastic little restaurant. I cannot wait to get some good ole fish and chips!!!
I am super excited to be starting this journey across the ocean to a whole new world! Tomorrow, I will be leaving from DFW to Detroit and then onward to London! I was extremely nervous about doing this trip, but I knew that God had given me the wonderful opportunity to go on the EF College Tour trip. Throughout my ten day trip I will be blogging to fulfill my requirements for my Music History I class. Thank you for following and reading my blog on this exciting adventure! Please pray for the group to have safe travels and have minimum issues on this trip!
Adios for now!
